Dubrovnik
Today we had a tripped booked to Dubrovnik it said it would take 3 hours it took 4. You have to cross two border controls one leaving Montenegro and then one to enter Croatia which means getting off the coach then waiting for everyone to get their passports stamped. I was loosing the Will to live until we approached the coastline on the road into Dubrovnik and saw how beautiful it was. We were due to return at 5.30 which would have only given us a few hours with the delayed arrival so I changed our bus to 8.30 which gave us a good 6 hours to explore.
We first stopped for some lunch which is todays photo, the views from the restaurant were stunning. We then had a wonder around stopping for an ice cream and popping in the shops.
We then stumbled on a bar which was literally on the rocks and people were jumping off into the sea then getting out and having a beer. I did not jump in but did sit and enjoy a beer.
We then continued walking around the narrow streets and found a wine place where you could get a drink, we tried some Croatian wine and it did not disappoint. Sadly it was then time to head back to the bus station for another long journey home although armed with snacks this time. We actually made it back under 3 hours.
