Cheeky

The weather is atrocious today. It is pouring with rain and only 5 degrees. Last Wednesday it was sunny and 25 degrees. How things change. The race trials were at Addington today so I dragged myself out, all rugged up, to watch our 2 year old trotter Rabbit ( his stable name). His racing name is A Fine Patrick. We also raced his mother Harriet Of Mot (Hattie). She had huge talent winning 17 races in a career cut short by injury.
Rabbit made short of a big field winning easily under no pressure which is very pleasing. In the stables afterwards he watched me lining up for a photo. One could imagine that he poked his tongue out in fun but I don't believe for one moment.
He has now had 5 trials for 4 wins and a second. He will have one more trial then turn out on raceway.
