Poppy power....

I am missing the poppies that used to fill our front garden at this time of the year. They rather took over and became more and more each year. So that bed needed a make over and is a work in progress.. and D is making a fantastic job of it.

I KNOW this isn't a good macro shot and MAYBE I really did want to capture the inside of the poppy not the bee, but the colour is fantastic and the detail just amazing. It is in my sister's garden and was enjoying the late afternoon sun.

I have learnt that my precious Fuji XF1 might take THREE weeks to get back to me. That means another week without it. My Nikon won't fit in my little rucksack!
