The Bubbles

Today we drove to Acadia National Park, about an hour from our house. The weather was perfect. We stopped at Sand Beach ( a unique occurrence  in Maine) and then at Thunder Hole. It being low tide though, the hole wasn't blowing much. It was still beautiful.
We had a reservation to drive up to the top of Cadillac Mountain and the view was stunning up there. It was fairly hazy today and none of those pictures really did it justice. As we were leaving the park we stopped at a carriage road entrance and walked out a bit. These are just for walking, biking and I believe horse riding. We walked to the edge of Eagle Lake where we could see the Bubbles across it. This was actually my favorite picture and to be truthful area in the day. It was much more peaceful and less crowded than the other areas.
