Ely
Today I abandoned the spaniel and the rest of the family in Norfolk and took myself off to Ely in Cambridgeshire to visit the magnificent Stained Glass Museum which is housed inside the cathedral. The glass was, of course, superb but I had to blip the ceiling of Ely's Octagonal Tower which has been described as a wonder of the Medieval world. Apparently it took 18 years to construct.
