Munching away
I definitely would not call today's full day meeting a great success. The morning part was a complete waste of time. Fortunately though the afternoon part was slightly more interesting.
We had considerably cooler weather than the last few days. The temperature had dropped by several degrees but I'm not complaining about that as I actually prefer today's temperature to the higher ones we had recently. Unfortunately the sky stayed completely grey for most of the day as well which made capturing a good blip at the park rather difficult after I'd eaten my sandwiches there at lunch time.
During my walk I spotted a wren, a robin and even two rabbits but they were too far and all disappeared before I could get close enough to get a better shot with my compact camera. The Barnacle geese and their goslings were still at the pond and I did manage to take a few photos of some of them. Because I already blipped them before though I decided to choose this sheep that was sharing an enclosure with a few others and some goats.
I only managed to catch a couple of hours of sleep before I had to get up this morning and I'm feeling so tired now that I nearly fell asleep in front of the laptop while I was choosing my blip.
Thank you very much for the lovely comments and stars on yesterday's blip of my budgie Ozzie.
