Grey Heron

There were 3 Heron today. The little female (pictured) and the nervy male met me on the grass near the dovecote but after a few minutes they were off as a dog walker was approaching. The little female landed on the viewing platform and the nervy male near the edge of the water. I started feeding them again and saw the other adult male flying down the loch. He was chased by the nervy male but I knew where he would be so saved a share for him. I made toward the hiding place used by the male it is mid way round and concealed from the loch by overhanging branches and is quite dark. I gave him his share then made for home.
A few crows were around and got their biscuits.
The extra is the male in his hiding place.
