and so it goes

Today's photo taken while walking Rufus this morning. 

An at home day, that included pool time, reading, and Day 4 of my '7 minutes for 7 days' workout challenge. Unfortunately, and very sadly, my day also included saying 'goodbye' to Bev and Nigel who left late afternoon, flying home a month earlier than expected, following Saturday's distressing family news.  I'm sorry to see them go, and even sorrier about the reason for their early departure. 

Living in such a small community, during the long 'holiday' season (April - October) saying hello and good bye is a regular event, and so, although it was a sad 'goodbye' to Bev and Nigel, a couple of hours later it was  'hello' to Sally and Alan who arrived early evening, and, yay, after more than two months home in the UK, it was finally, 'welcome back' to Graham and Kat who arrived later still.
