Tomato chutney

This morning, I’d been planning to make some tomato chutney to use up the glut of green tomatoes that I’ve picked off the plants. The amount I made last year did t seem enough so I doubled the recipe, but I’m not sure I’ll get through all of this! I’d also arranged to meet a friend for coffee so it was touch and go whether I’d get everything chopped, cooked and bottled before we met, but I just about made it!

Then pottery later, where I made two plant pot holder which I’m hoping will be big enough to actually be useful. I’ll see once they’re fired and they’ve shrunk 10% but fingers crossed. I was pretty pleased that I managed to throw something that big twice and get the shape almost the same.
