Buff Tail worker bumble bee..

...or at least I think it is! I sat in the garden watching all the bumble bees foraging on the green alcanet, they are busy this time of year. I think they are about a month later than usual, this one was very small, looked like one of the first out of the nest, they are usually considerably bigger by this time of the year, product of a cold spring I guess....all bees need our help to thrive so plant lots of bee friendly plants in your garden!
