3193. Sunflower

These sunflowers are almost three weeks old and just about finished but this one was still looking pretty good.

What a morning we’ve had.  I wanted to change our cooker hood as it’s over 20 years old and the stainless steel is stained in places so we started to look at some possible replacements.  Hubby phoned a local company to see if they could fit a new one if we managed to source one.  We then started to look for one online and managed to find exactly what we wanted which miraculously can be delivered tomorrow!  As we want them to take away the old one, hubby then started to try and take the old one down…what a palaver that was, but we managed to get it all down!  A quick phone call to the company who are going to fit it and they can come on Wednesday!  We weren’t expecting to get it all sorted so quickly, now all we need to do is sort out someone to come and decorate the kitchen!

Hubby has had to fix some of the tiles back on as they came away when we took the hood down but it all looks fine now.

After all that excitement we then had lunch and headed off into town for our covid and flu vaccinations…back home and relaxing now!
