The Great Global Greyhound Walk is held on 24 September each year. It is for any dog in the Sighthound breed. I attended the one at Puckpool on the Isle of Wight. My friends A and L who live there, take their Greyhound Jenny. It was a great turnout - 55 Sighthounds in all. This year's theme was flags. Not all dogs sported a flag but a few did.
(The ones wearing muzzles were brought by a Retired Greyhound Trust which was looking for homes for them. Over the years, they have found homes for over a 150 of them on the Island.)
