2023 Sunday — The Dreaded “Goodbye”

Our “See You Next Time” meet-up happened this morning at the Madonna Inn Coffee Shop. After sharing a bunch of summer’s final days and welcoming autumn, this morning brought Mr. Fun & me to a lump-in-the-throat moment.

We understand this emotion comes because we’ve all enjoyed laughter and leisure, as well as care-free and heart-felt conversations that stopped only because the clock ran out.

We’ve enjoyed entirely too much food (our photos are evidence) but not nearly enough time; we’d take more and more. We’ve told stories, shared memories, and even wandered thru some wishes.

So for now this will have to be enough. Becky & Steve, thank you.
