Nearly

I quite like the detail in the flower but I think that it's my poorest Blip for a while.

And so today. Well it was long and packed with things that were not very good. The worst of which I discovered when I got home.

I came home and Moot, bless 'im, jumped off his seat in the living room and limped away from me.

When Moot was young he had a accident with a car. Hip broken in 3 places, disclocated back left leg, broken ribs and stuff. His disclocated leg didn't heal properly and it has always looked a bit odd. That was the leg that he's limping on today.

No idea what he's done, I suspect he's tried and failed to make a jump but I don't know.

Anyway he's limping and I thought straight away - let's get him to the Vet. He may have been limping but when he saw me with the carrycase, he was off. Straight away upstairs and under the sofa.

I've tipped the sofa up to get to him and he scarpered under the bed. He's not daft, I couldn't reach him where he chose to hide, so I had to take everything off the bed - quilt, pillows and mattress and then disassemble the frame. And then when I could see him, he jumped out of there and ran behind the shelves with the plants on top. After moving the plants (sorry G, a few lost branches), I finally got hold of him.

And now to get him into his carrycase.... 20 minutes and with a little swearing later, we're off to the vet.

Which was shut.

OK. Back home and I thought "I'll feed him and if he eats nothing then we'll find an emergency vet". Moot, bless him, ate the whole lot, walked over and jumped on the settee and has settled down.

We're still going to the vet tomorrow though. I'm really looking forward to replaying that game of catching him....
