Men at Work

A beautiful sunny day, with a lovely walk along the cliff face above Lake Hawea.  10 walkers today.  No wind.  The first extra is the view walking towards Hawea Township.  The second extra is my lunch spot, and the third extra is the view walking back to the cars.  The mountains in the distance are the Hawea mountains.  The men in the photo are clearing 5 pine trees that blew over in the strong winds a couple of days ago.  Luckily none of them blew over onto the track.

I counted only 7 cyclists, and 6 runners, so the track was very peaceful.  We stopped on the way home for a cuppa and cake at a local Hawea Cafe.  I walked just over 11k steps, or 8 k's.  +11C, so not too cold.  Far enough for one day.  Will light the fire now, and settle in for the evening.
