Stowe Pool
Lichfield Cathedral reflected in Stowe Pool.
This was origianlly a mill pond, then in 1856, was made into a reservoir to supply water to the Black Country. When this was no longer needed, it was stocked with fish and is now used by anglers.
M and I walk alongside it every time we take the car for servicing - such a tranquil spot, full of swans (saw one on a nest today), grebes, coots, ducks (saw two pairs with ducklings today), and geese (also with goslings today).
