Rhone panorama

This is the view from the ridge above Javerne. The Dent du Midi is on the left and then the Rhone winds it’s way down to Lake Geneva.

I set off early and did the valley route to get to the ridge. It was very cold and frosty but soon warmed up. There was snow beneath my feet by the time I go to La Tourche hut. Such a beautiful autumn day.
