Work was very busy with only a few staff and lots of customers as it is the first weekend of sale.
When I left I went straight to collect Lyra from her neighbours and brought her to my house. We played in the garden. Then had a snooze on the sofa.
We went back at about 5, just as the visitors were leaving, so they got to see her, but only for a quick hello, and not long enough for the little children to get too much for Lyra. She doesn’t like little children very much, so it was kinder not to inflict them on her.
I stayed and had tea and cake and chats, and with Anna and Sharon.
