On the Common this morning - with Anniemay, rather than Bertie.  She set off at a cracking pace, but kindly waited for me at the top of the hill.  Perhaps she got a shot of something else yesterday, besides her Covid booster.

The grass is relatively short, so it was a real surprise to see half a dozen skylarks suddenly became airborne as we came past.
