Harvesting the Winter Barley
After a chilly night and lots of rain, the temperatures by early afternoon where 17 c here on the west side of the City of Aberdeen by Aberdeenshire.
The plan was to go out to Torphins, near Banchory, where there was possibly another Post Box Topper to take a picture of.
However 2 miles from the house, and Nichol of Skene was bringing in the Winter Barley in adjacent fields. So will I wont I, yep at the Garlogie Roundabout a U turn and back down to catch these pictures.
