Fred's plate

Fred died peacefully this morning. His beloved daughter was with him. He was 90.
 
Fred was a lovely man, modest and unassuming, warm, kind, a true gentleman. We were very fond of him. He was curious and enthusiastic about things that interested him, including his garden, his wonderful roses and the local nature reserve where he volunteered. One of his interests was wood carving and he made this plate for us twenty years ago. Vale Fred.
