A Voyage
Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny and The Mini Princesses,
This morning, Lovely Shuvly and I joined Belle’s husband and 2 year old son to watch Belle abseil down the side of St Thomas’ hospital. She was fund raising for the hospital as her son was treated there as a tiny baby. It is a very long way down, but despite being terrified of heights, she did it!. We went for brunch to celebrate with a very beautiful, happy 2 year old who was blissfully oblivious to the emotion of the occasion, and whose biggest concern was which glass his juice would be in!
Lovely Shuvly and I went to see ABBA voyage tonight and it was spectacular. For 90 mins I was blown away by the music, the technology and the atmosphere.
The ABBAtars are AMAZING. So lifelike. You can even see the hair on Benny’s arms and the movement of every fold of material in their flares. There were also projections on the huge screens at the sides of the stage which had a very slightly waxy appearance, but looking at the stage, they were absolutely real and I had goosebumps in wonder.
We had dance floor tickets which was great as we could throw some cheesy shapes. There was a huge range of ages and outfits. The music was obviously amazing (including the live band). There were lots of beaming smiles and it really was a happy place.
It was an amazing night. We were very thankful for the music!
