Flowery husk

MrM left for a day's fishing, and I had a long 'to do' list to tackle in his absence. Nothing too arduous, and it should have been possible to do everything on the list with time to spare.

Then I spoke to our solicitor. It seems that the solicitor at the RSPCA (who own the freehold of the flat), by all accounts a confrontational sort of chap (not to mention unprofessional), is once again delaying the sale by failing to forward a simple piece of information. In fact he hasn't replied to the last two emails from our solicitor. Next step - I'll email him. A pain in the neck, but if it gets things moving...

Did manage to cross quite a few things off the list, including a walk into Holmfirth to browse round, and make a couple of purchases from,  the excellent Fair Trader shop. 

Enjoyed corn on the cob this lunchtime. Here's the husk.
