We separated from the tasks and drove the 20 or so miles to Bogus Basin where we skied for all the the Boise years. Taylor started skiing at 3. Often hanging on my ski poles between my legs. And gravity worked us down the hill. It was an two day back and forth every weekend til we moved to Seattle 12 years later. Tom was long time ski patrol and on the mountain constantly. He got me onto free heel skis on that terrain. Intimidating! Only wimps used alpine equipment according to Naylor.
This image is the spot we will take Greg’s ashes in three weeks with family. And I am bringing some of Tom’s to leave too. We loved that others left their loved ones or honored them as well.
We head home tomorrow. With a bagful of papers and documents. Thank you all.
