Snow Bunting

I saw seven snow buntings on Birsay Bay beach today. They are always very flighty and difficult to get together. I had seen a couple of reports from around the islands of them. I don't recall seeing them arrive from the north so early before. The extra is of a cat on a post near Kirkwall.
