3rd Cousin!

Today we had the pleasure of meeting my 3rd cousin Carl and his wife Shauna.
Carl found me on Ancestry last year and we have emailed a few times. His Gt Granddad was my Gt Granddad’s brother. (On my Mum’s side)
They live in New Brunswick, Canada and are touring round the UK for 3 weeks following Ancestry links.
We hit it off straightaway and had a lovely time with them. They both had great sense of humour and they loved our Bella. Shauna is an artist and gave us one of her wood block prints of a typical Maritime Lighthouse. (Extra)
We had a lovely lunch at Phoebe’s in Skipton. All too soon it was time for them to leave and I felt quite sad to say goodbye.
Guess where they’re going tomorrow - Whitley Bay where we were 3 days ago! We could have timed that better.
We actually came into Skipton on the boat and they came aboard too.
We’ll stay overnight but have to go home tomorrow.
