Tobairín na Teampeall

Busy day today and no time to blip but I did take a couple of photos of Tobairín an Teampeall, Little Well of the Church, and the alcove inside the old church containing an array of offerings - suitably fartnarkled for almost the Equinox.
 I had to do my talk this evening as part of Culture Night, a countrywide event with tons going on. Unfortunately Himself has come down with a spot of vertigo and couldn't come with me so I had to sort out the tech myself - okay, he had just about managed to train me and all went well, even down to thinking of a lead extension which turned out to be essential. A very civilised gathering, tea and biscuits consumed whilst the talk was going on and a very welcoming and interested group. What really made it was at the end a man stood up and gave the most beautiful rendition of a song about a holy well! The sky was also amazing as I made my way home, illuminated with a half moon and a myriad of stars.
