On the common

I cycled over the common to Ashtead Station today and had a look around the charity shop near there. I was surprised to see the hay bales - I didn't think the grass got that long. Given the weather we've been having, I doubt they'll have dried out much.

Other than that, today is a wash day, and I'm glad we have space for indoor drying racks in the garage. It's nice and warm in there too because that's where the boiler is.

I've spent quite a bit of time doing some German. I've come such a long way but I still have so far to go.
