The Last of Summer

Earth is bathed evenly in sunshine only twice a year, on the equinoxes. You can't always see it though! Now the seasons are changing and Winter is officially coming. It certainly felt cooler this morning and the gardens at Saltram Park were bathed in hazy sunshine. There is still plenty of colour though, peeping out from the dark spaces in the borders. A reminder that the last of the Summer is slowly fading away, but has not yet passed.
