Manchester Ship Canal

After a (very) unpleasant night on the Northlink, it was a relief to get off at Aberdeen this morning to start the slow trundle south.  

Today as far as Warrington - and a pre-dinner walk beside the Manchester Ship Canal.   Have stopped here several times and have yet to see a ship (I don't think the Thelwall Ferry - see the extra - counts).
