What Is It?

after a FaceTime call with Daughter and a little admin, we went for a walk, coffee and a bite to eat the an hour pottering in the garden.

I was cutting back some geraniums and spotted this little creature hiding at the base of the plant. No idea what it is. It has a tail. Any ideas?

We also watched the 1969 version of The Italian Job.
