Alstroemeria

These alstroemeria flowers were blooming well in a garden in the village when I went out for a walk.  It has been sunny with a cool wind today and I was putting my fleece on and off according to where I was.

Stuart and I did a thorough house clean this morning, then I chatted for a while with a friend.  Cooked lunch, then a rest for most of the afternoon.  It absolutely poured with rain recently, but now the sun is out again!

(We went to home group yesterday, but I didn't get around to taking any photos.  It was great to be back after the summer break).
