Merrie England...

...Though it didn't seem particularly 'merrie' when we walked through the Packhorse Arcade this afternoon!

Into Huddersfield with MrM this morning, as he needed to go to the bank and we needed to buy a couple of essentials. It took longer than anticipated at the bank, and by the time we emerged we were in need of sustenance and headed for the cafe in Byram Arcade for lunch. Good food, and huge portions - we didn't need to eat for the rest of the day! Then a wander round Huddersfield where we bought a new electric toothbrush (ours 'died' last week, and ordinary toothbrushes don't seem adequate after having using an electric one) and a couple of other things. It's taking a while to get used to shopping in a 'new' (to us) town.

To an art class this evening. This week we were drawing objects in a glass jar - my jar was full of buttons. Seemed quite daunting, drawing (for the first time in years) in a room full of strangers. But they seem a friendly bunch, and I'll go back next week.
