My friend saved this daffodil from her Father’s daffodil collection, so it’s very special to her. Well done L.!!

It’s been a rough day for some in Queenstown, with heavy rain overnight washing cut wilding pines and forestry slash off the gondola hillside into the CBD. It’s been a stressful time and such a shambles. But as of writing, no injuries or house damage, thankfully. QTN has been declared a State of Emergency, which will stay in place for 7 days.

The rain finally eased about lunchtime, to everyone’s relief. Let’s hope there’s no more rain.
