A very good day at the day job. There was a high level meeting for a piece of work I’ve been tasked with, and I don’t think it could have gone more smoothly. It was scheduled for an hour and we were done in 14 minutes, with unanimous agreement and good humour. Hurrah! 

In the evening I went to the launch event for the UK’s first Equal Media and Culture Centre. Its work is to have the media better represent Scotland, both in stories and behind the scenes. There were excellent performances and stirring speeches. It was exciting to witness the start of this leg of the journey.
