Auto save

You remember when we have to save every few minutes or we’d lose everything? And then we didn’t have to because things auto-saved? It didn’t. I just lost hours of work on my art grant proposal. 

When I write something a second time it is never as good as it was when it first flowed from me. 

This computer is now full and slow and it doesn’t feel that old to me. 

I do love having trees on my deck. This sparrow is right outside my window.  The picture is taken through the blinds. 

Ukraine did not begin the war with much of a navy. It is using innovative attacks to erode Russia’s naval advantage and now is starting to reopen its ports. Commercial vessels have resumed using the port of Odesa without asking permission from Russia for the first time since the war began. 


The US will send Abrams tanks to Ukraine soon. 


Zelensky had his first in- person appearance at a U.N. Security Council meeting. Russia’s ambassador objected. "There is a solution for this," Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, serving as president of the session said: "If you agree, you stop the war and President Zelenskiy will not take the floor."


An independent Russian language news outlet said on Telegram that more Russian soldiers in Ukraine refused to fight after their commanders fled like rats.
