Flying back to Perth today. I must have flown between Perth and Cairns 16 times this year, only once have I managed to get a direct flight. Today my stop was in Melbourne for an hour or so.

With the 3.5 hour drive to cairns, 2 hours errands and car drop off in cairns, 5 hour flight to Melbourne, 1 hour stop, 5 hour flight to Perth, and the 1 hour transiting the airport and going home... it ends up being a big day.
