Better late than never

Autumn has really blown in this week. Windy, cloudy, grey and wet. Then, later this afternoon, brighter weather blew in from the west.

Hospital day again, and horrible weather. I returned home to get on with indoor things, returning to the hospital mid afternoon. I called in on Wigg Island on the way back. I am looking towards the Silver Jubilee Bridge connecting Runcorn and Widnes.

Here the Manchester Ship Canal is on the left, and the River Mersey on the the right. The tide was in, so unlike last time I was here when it was all sand and mud, today it was all water.
