Fantail

There's lots of fantails about these last few days, so the mistress grabbed this shot quickly before it flew away. Very noisy bird, chirping at everything, so it was obviously happy.

The Mistress bored so she added a couple of textures to the image. Really, it was perfectly okay as it was, but she had to fiddle! As she does!

We had a fire alarm installed today. The Mistress was relying on THE CAT to wake her up for a fire, but the fire dept wasn't happy so they came and installed a special alarm that has a vibrating bit that you put under the pillow. Or in the mattress.

We tested it out and it's quite a strong vibration - like one of those massaging chairs. I don't think the Mistress will ever get out of bed now.
