The battle in Poltava

Just read a book about the battle between the Swedish King Carl the12th, with his army of 49500 soldiers, and the Russian Tsar Peter The Great, with an army twice as big. After a 9 years long fighting which started up north and ended when the Swedes was beaten by the Ukrainian city Poltava in 1709. The King came back to Sweden with 1300 men. In 1718 he attacked Norway with 35000 men. The King was shot dead by Fredriksten fortress near the Norwegian city Halden. When the king was dead, the army went home to Sweden.
