Kaitaki

Kaitaki, Maori for Challenger which was one of the vessels names when being run by Stena, was the ferry we sailed on in 2005 when first visiting NZ and it still had the name Pride of Cherbourg on the side and pictures of Calais in the lounge. We sailed on the Pride of Cherbourg across the English Channel when it in service there.
Now 28 years old and coming to the end of is current life with its replacement being built and die to appear in 2025/6.

Todays ride was to Picton the weather was warm and pleasant.
