Anticipation

Taken through a chain link fence, this observation area is not yet open to the public.  It overlooks the Open Space where Sandhill Cranes come in late October to feed.  The cranes over-winter all around Albuquerque. I watched a teenage coyote cross the bridge over the acequia as I approached. It walked along the chain link fence then disappeared into the brush.
