Happy birthday Boy 2

Had Boy 2's birthday early, as he will be with his dad on the actual day. This lovely boy is now seven. He is sensitive, imaginative and very sweet, with very big, serious blue eyes. Unlike his brother, he isn't competitive and doesn't want to be the leader. He often sees things from unusual angles. When he laughs, joy bursts from every pore and when he cries he finds it hard to breathe. He likes to collect small things and keep them in boxes. He often draws birds. I love him.


I've now had my ovaries removed and the operation went well . Just recovering at home now. I can't drive yet or walk very far, so my perimeters are small . Im going to try and embrace this. Planning to read a lot and trying to put a collection of poems together. The writing course I attended at Newcastle library every Thursday night for six weeks was absolutely wonderful and made my brain tingle. I've written a lot of poems because of it . I feel Im on the brink of something but Im not sure what. It's a good feeling. I love change.
