September Slug (Arion rufus)

Not everyone's favourite creature but there's no denying that this  specimen is a buxom beauty. I particularly like the pleats and colourful frill around its skirt. It's pleasing plumpness is the result of a potato-rich diet, courtesy of the Loweswater allotment.
