Protest? March? Demonstration? Strike?

I'm not quite sure what this was, apart from one of the above guesses, but they made a bit of noise* as they proceeded along Sauchiehall Street, then came to a halt at the top of Buchanan Street beside the statue of Donald Dewar.

I had to leave them to it as I had a lunch date with Cousin Alison in Browns on George Square.  That was most enjoyable, as always.

* "Whadda we want?" (Inaudible reply) "When do we want it?" etc plus lots of blowing of whistles and banging of drums
