Rain was forecast for the whole day. It prompted me to wash and proof my Paramo jacket. Then I washed the hob and kitchen floor.

I’d just got up after my mid morning mug of tea when I saw a what looked like a nuthatch fly across the garden. Not long afterwards I spotted it on the sunflower seed feeder (which I’d hung on the hedge today to give the birds a bit of shelter).

Met friends for coffee at the garden centre in the afternoon. I arrived early so I had a chance to get a few photos.
