Work vs. Donkeys

Donkeys win every time.

The worst thing about going back to work is going back to work.  There was a plan to get up early, start early and finish early.  That plan was amended to wake up early, eff it and sleep for another 90 minutes.

The amended plan was much better than the original.  It at least delayed having to read a million e-mails about things that were completely untinteresting.

No-one needs an invitation to a 12 week series of meetings about the "definition of done".  On a mainframe, it's either done or it doesn't work.  Plus there is no need for someone to sit and babble sh!t at us that will change nothing.  But so long as they've ticked another box on the Useless Checklist, we'll keep being invited and nothing will change.
