Almost an Aurora

A quiet day that sparked to life about 9.30pm when I got a FB alert that there was a cracking Aurora visible in my area. Unfortunately by the time I got down to the beach (with what seemed like 100s of other folk) cloud had rolled in and all you could see was a greenish glow behind the clouds.and my DSLR was out of battery ……doh!!!!  A pity.
