In the deep dark woods….

Well but really as after a grey day the sun came out when we were walking Phin at Newbattle but it’s the best I’ve got.

Thanks to Kersko for hosting.

The rain battered down on our tin can overnight and whilst I found it soothing, Mr PHL found it hard to sleep.

As we took the awning down on Sunday there wasn’t much to pack up so we were away just after 11 to head home. We opted to come through Glen Coe. Too wet and damp to see much and rather too many people driving slowly to sightsee as they went but we weren’t in a big rush. Others were more impatient including the buy in an Audi who overtook us at a set of traffic lights for roadworks just as we’d pulled out to go through. Luckily no damage as he squeezed past barring raised heartbeats but honestly what was the point.

Home by late afternoon and I got the fridge and fresh foods emptied out along with Phin’s food and got a washing started before we headed out with Phin.

Stopped at the supermarket to pick up some things for dinner. Enjoyed a lovely hot bath before our daughter arrived to spend the night. She’s put traps down in the flat but didn’t want to stay there on her own. It was nice to catch up with her.

Backblipped Tuesday for Monday
