Final Approach

I spent the day at the Farne Islands on a photography workshop primarily around puffins. The first island we visited was a nice leisurely affair, however, the second one required a dash through a nesting ground of the Arctic Tern which likes to have a peck at your head as you walk through.

This was one of the few shots I got of a puffin in mid-air. You expect them to be quite leisurely in their flights but they dash through the sky and are a nightmare to try and capture.

Speaking of nightmares, I am due to be starting to exhibit three images as part of the Festival of Erotic Arts and unfortunately the location has flooded and the original landlords have been less than helpful. Over the weekend there has been a kickstarter type fundraising and there is just £25 left to raise before tomorrow evening.
